The Northern Zone are delighted to announce Anna Harrison as a specialist coach for the Northern Marvels in 2019. 
 
Anna says when the opportunity came up for her to be involved as a specialist coach at the BEKO level, it was an easy decision.  “This is a great opportunity for me to stay involved in the sport and the Zone I have represented for the last 12 years, and I love working with young athletes.  I have been involved in high performance sport for the past 17 years, and during that time I have witnessed many changes and demands in netball.  My experience with both netball and volleyball on the world stage has taught me a lot about the challenges and focus needed to be a professional athlete.  I hope I can draw on that experience and share what I have learnt with the zone players”.
 
Anna has previously coached at a secondary school level.  Northern Mystics and the Netball Northern Zone are excited to be able to support Anna’s transition from playing to coaching, and introducing Anna at this level is a perfect fit.

The Northern Marvels first game of the 2019 BEKO League takes place on Saturday 2^nd March against the Southern Blast at The Trusts Arena, centre pass 2.10pm.
