The Northern Zone is pleased to announce the appointment of Tania Cargo to the role of assistant coach for the Northern Comets. Tania has been involved with netball in the region for the past 20 years. More recently she has coached at Secondary School, Premier Club and age group Representative campaigns for Hibiscus Coast Netball, Netball North Harbour; and, Aotearoa Maori Netball Oranga Healthy Lifestyles (AMNOHL) Poitarawhiti o Te Raki Paewhenua.
Tania is a Clinical Psychologist and Senior Lecturer in the department of Psychological Medicine at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland and brings these valuable skills into this role.
Tania is part of the Netball NZ Performance Coach programme and has been part of the Northern Zone Elite Performance Programme for the past two years. Please join us in congratulating Tania.
