Netball Northern Zone Community Team are excited to welcome the following new personnel who will begin their journey to Grow and Strengthen netball in our Zone from Monday 24th January 2022
Centre Relationship Manager – Amanda Dyason
Amanda comes to the Zone from a successful career as the Operations Manager for Pakuranga United Rugby. Amanda focused on running all daily operations of the Club as well as growing the clubs’ netball and touch offerings. She is also involved with running the Howick Local Board Sports Awards. Amanda is currently the President of Howick Pakuranga Netball Club, and team manager for the Marvels 2022 campaign.
Amanda brings a vast array of sports management experience coupled with business skills in finance, HR and communications. We are excited for the passion, knowledge and enthusiasm Amanda brings the Centre Relationship Manager role and know our Centres will make her feel welcome and supported as she learns the ropes.
NetballSmart Development Officer – Ala (Alexandra) Dysart
Ala is a physiotherapist having graduated from Otago Physiotherapy School in 2019. She has been practicing in Otorohanga alongside volunteering at local Waikato Bay of Plenty netball events. Ala is keen to take a proactive role in injury prevention and appreciates the importance of education in this space across grassroots netball.
Ala’s holistic approach to wellbeing, knowledge of netball and positive energy adds value to our team and the service we provide to the Centres within our Zone.
Umpire Development Officer - Auckland
As communicated back in December, we are very pleased to welcome Briana Valgre who takes up the role of Umpire Development Officer in Auckland, following our incumbent Umpire Lead, Sharleen Morrell’s move to Ruakaka. In this new role, Briana will provide support and service to our Auckland regional Centres.
